BMS students had an outstanding performance at the Georgia Junior Youth Assembly! Vivienne McCurley’s bill not only passed through committee but also made its way through both the House of Representatives and the Senate, earning her the award for Best Overall Informational Display at this year’s conference. Chris Owens’s bill also passed through committee and was approved by the House of Representatives. Additionally, Elizabeth Corley and Oakley Wright successfully presented their bill in committees. We are incredibly proud of Oakley Wright and Ridge Norton for their roles as committee chairpersons at the conference, where they were recognized for their leadership. Congratulations to Elizabeth Corley, AJ Gainey, Vivienne McCurley, Chris Owens, Cooper Sanders, and Oakley Wright for having their bills selected for this year’s state conference—a prestigious honor for our Blue Devils!
