Today, one of our own, #7 Carson Kimball, is undergoing a newly approved medical procedure as part of his courageous journey to overcome a spinal injury.
Carson has shown us what true strength and determination look like. His powerful words during the 2025 graduation ceremony — “You have to put in the work even on the days when it’s hard” — are a reflection of his unwavering spirit and relentless work ethic. Today he is excited and hopeful.
Carson shared this message:
“Thank you to the Bremen community for all the prayers and support for me. I love you and I’m grateful to God for carrying me through this.”

Rest in Peace our dear friend, Victoria Dale. Victoria was an incredible educator, colleague, and friend. She was an example of excellence, kindness, grace, and faith. Even as Victoria faced her own health challenges, she never stopped encouraging others. She prayed for us, supported us, and reminded us of the power of resilience and faith. Her legacy is not just in the lessons she taught, but in the lives she touched with compassion and strength. BCS is forever better because of Victoria. 💙

Tribute to a True Blue Devil Hellen McClellan from former student Monica McCarley. "Helen McClellan taught me 7th-12 grade. She taught gifted social studies and language arts. Georgia Studies was a particularly wonderful class. She knew everything about Georgia history, and she coached the Georgia History Quiz Bowl Team to a Area Championship my eighth grade year. She spent many weekends and much of her free time driving me and other students to debate and speaking competitions. She was strict in the classroom but caring and fair. She looked for the best in her students, and she more often than not, found it. She was also the best cook! Every year, she would invite all of her students to her home and cook the most amazing treats. This was every year!, and she taught a lot of students. I cannot imagine how long it took her to bake all of those goodies. Her chocolate cake was my favorite. She actually baked me one a few years ago, and it was just as delicious as always. She continued to support me through all 30 years of my teaching career- attending many of my shows including last year's one-act play with her daughter Melanie. Her love for teaching was great, but her love of students was even greater. She profoundly influenced my decision to become a teacher."
