Chesnut new AP

Bremen, GA — Bremen City Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Grant Chesnut as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Bremen High School. Chesnut will also serve as the Offensive Coordinator for the Bremen High School football program and oversee the athletic programs for the school district.

Chesnut holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Education from Georgia Southern University. He brings more than 20 years of experience in education, athletic administration, and football coaching at both the high school and collegiate levels.

Most recently, Chesnut has served as Tight Ends Coach and Interim Offensive Coordinator at Colorado State University. His collegiate experience also includes coaching stops at Western Kentucky University, the United States Naval Academy, and Kennesaw State University, where he was part of the winningest Division I start-up football program in college football history, compiling a 68–24 record from 2015–2022.

Chesnut has previously served as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia. His background also includes coaching experience at multiple Georgia high schools and at Presbyterian College.
