Dr. Guyton’s 2nd-grade students participated in a Book Report Picnic where they shared their knowledge and demonstrated the story elements they learned throughout their research. They did a wonderful job showcasing their understanding and creativity, and topped it all off with some delicious snacks! What a fun way to celebrate their hard work and love of reading! 💙📖💙

Students researched their creature, gathered interesting facts, prepared a presentation, and presented their findings to the class. What a great opportunity for our students to build research, communication, creativity, and presentation skills while learning about the fascinating world around them!

It's been an exciting and busy week at Jones Elementary! From field trips and Jones Jog to money machine excitement and spirit day fun, and lots of learning, exploring, creating, and discovering in between, we made every moment count!
We also had the opportunity to celebrate our AMAZING PTO and show them how much we appreciate everything they do for our school. We are so grateful for all the ways they support our students and staff! 💙
