Text Box: Course Overview   These courses are designed to  provide students with competencies to facilitate a smooth transition from secondary education to entry-level careers, postsecondary education, and lifelong learning.   Major goals of the programs are too: · Introduce students into the various health industry careers. · Apply academic foundations into hands on learning. · Provide opportunities to master competencies required in the health care industry. · Develop critical thinking, goal setting, and problem-solving skills. · Develop attitudes consistent with those expected of the health care industry. · Increase  awareness and knowledge of technology in the health care industry. · Equip students with the skills to become successful lifelong learners.     Text Box: Mrs. Valarie Golden
