For the rest of the year we will be in PE. Please make sure that you child has tennis shoes for pe. Also, a child must have a note if he or she is not able to participate in activities.

No spelling…….we are through with spelling.

We will be reviewing vowels and working on dividing words into syllables.

In math we will be doing problem solving and review work. Your child will not have math homework most nights so please don’t be alarmed it there is no homework folder.

We still are reading EVERYDAY so please make sure that your child is reading at night and returning readers the next day!!

All library books are due!!

The last week of school we will be doing tye dyed shirts. Please send your child a t-shirt with his or her name in it.

Field day is May 26^th from 9-11. Please wear your field day shirt or your class t-shirt. Parents you are welcome!! All students need to wear tennis shoes.

Students will receive their annuals on June 2^nd.

Perfect attendance certificates will be given out on June 4^th.

First grade will be having a Luau on Thurs.

June 4^th….grade mothers will be contacting you soon. The luau will be in the gym at 10:00.

On June 5^th we will have our end of school ice cream party…..the party will be at 10:00. I will provide the ice cream and the students will be volunteering to bring their favorite toppings. Check your child’s clear folder next week to see if your child volunteered to bring an item.
