Welcome back!!! I hope you
all had a blessed Thanksgiving; I know I did!
We have just finished expository writing, and we will begin our unit on
research this week. Students will be
learning how to do formal note taking using index cards, and we will also learn
how to do MLA citations. Please make
sure that your child has index cards by Thursday if possible. We are still working more on the conventions
of language , and we will continue to work on them all
year. One way the students will learn
how the parts of a sentence are related is through diagramming. Please contact me with any questions you
have.
