Character Stars

Each month our school recognizes a specific character trait. During the month, any teacher can “catch” a child showing this trait, and give them a character coupon. This coupon is placed in a “character can” in our classroom. At the end of the month, each child with his/her name in the “can” gets to choose a prize from the treasure basket. One name is drawn from the can, and the person drawn wins as character star for our classroom. This child gets to have lunch at the “Character Cafe’” on our lunchroom stage with Mrs. Costley, our guidance counselor on a designated day.

What’s Happening?

*For a $1 donation students can buy a hat sticker on Friday and wear a hat at school. Proceeds go to our Drug Awareness program.

*Early release day-Friday, March 26^th. This will also be the day of our Easter party.

*Spring Break will be March 29-April 2.

*Report cards will go home on March 25th.
