Kathy Strickland

We have gotten off to a fast and furious start of the school year. The students are great and adjusting nicely to the changing of classes. I thought you might be interested in learning a few facts about me. I love children and am enjoying teaching your precious children.

I graduated from Auburn University in 1979 with a degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University. My husband and I have just celebrated our 25^th wedding anniversary! We have 2 wonderful children who are in college. Zach is 21 and Molly Kate is 19. We moved to Carrollton in 2003 from Gwinnett County and I have taught at Jones Elem. for 4 years. Totally, I have taught 15 years teaching grades 3^rd to 8^th. I am an Auburn fan and you will see hints of orange and blue in my classroom. I do love all my students and look forward to an awesome year!
