Students
are expected to:
1.
Use
equipment as directed.
2.
Treat
materials with care.
3.
Enter
the media center in an orderly manner, speak quietly, avoid
disrupting others.
4.
Bring
all materials needed for library activity.
5.
Be
sure materials are checked out before leaving media center.
6.
Return
checked-out materials on time.
7.
Follow
the directions of the adult in charge.
Consequences: Damage or loss of book will result in paying
for the book. Payment of lost books that
are returned in good condition will be reimbursed . Failure to follow library behavior
expectations will result in a referral to the classroom teacher or an
administrator. (Level I, II )
Checking out Books
PreK checks
out a paperback book to keep in the classroom.
They also use this book to read with their book buddies.
Kindergarten checks out one book for a
one week period.
First grade checks out one book
for a one week period.
Second grade may check out two
books for a one week period.
Third grade may check out two
books for a one week period.
