We’re Off to a Great Start!

All the children are doing a wonderful job transitioning to our
kindergarten setting. We are so pleased
with them so pat yourselves on the back for all that you have done to make this
BIG step so successful! We also appreciate
your generosity. Every child has
returned the library books! What a
record for you!
Upcoming Standards and topics:
Recognizing and writing all the letters of the alphabet
including “funny a and g”. We are
emphasizing the lowercase letters.
Listening skills for recall of information.
The names of planar shapes as well as the sphere and cube.
Sorting, numerals names and formations of 0-5, patterning.
Nursery rhymes and rhyming words.
Fall and apples.
Our

we’ve worked on that day to help them recall activities and to bridge the
transition to home so that they can more easily tell you about the day.
