WEEK OF MAY 6, 2010

NEXT WEEK	Language Arts: We will be working on blends, sight words, writing sentences, and reading fluently. Please practice all sight words daily. Take-home readers will go home Monday-Thursday. Math: Continuation of Subtraction/Addition.
UPCOMING EVENTS	Thursday – Return ALL library books. No check-out. May 7^th – Field trip to Tanner State Park. Wear pink field trip T-shirts. May 7^th – Mother-Son Dance @ 7:00 at Bremen Senior Center. May 8^th – Bike Rodeo/Safe Routes 10:00-12:00 – Park in PreK parking lot and walk down zig-zag to register. May 11^th - Field Day 9:00-11:00. We will have sack lunches from the cafeteria, unless your child brings one from home, at 11:45. May 20^th – Kindergarten Musical at Bremen High School Gym at 7:00 p.m. Make plans for this important event. Your child will need their pink T-shirt to wear that evening. Donations are appreciated and are tax deductible. May 21^st – Animal Show – In-school field trip in our gym. Cost is $5. May 28^th – Last Day of School – Report cards issued. All outstanding debts owed for lunch, media center, Afterschool Program, and school needs to be paid prior to receiving report card.
NEWS	CAMP (computer, art, music, P.E.) Schedule for next week: We will have P.E. in the lower gym with Coach Pirch. Please wear tennis shoes to school.
OTHER	We will have our last spelling test on Friday, May 14^th, on the following words: with, run, had, did, please, good. We will have a practice test on Wednesday. Those that make 100 won’t have to take the test on Friday. Congratulations to Tevya, Claire, James, Austin, Ashley, Lanni, Samantha, Chloe H., and Taylor for making 100 last week!
