Sewell Middle CRCT In Top 10 in State

Sewell Middle School was recognized for being in the top ten in the state in the areas of
sixth grade math and science on the spring administration of the Georgia CRCT.
The Georgia State Department of Education invited teachers from the top ten schools to a
one day discussion with DOE officials to discuss strategies and success stories of their instruction. Representing Bremen City Schools at the June 19th meeting were Karen Bar,
sixth grade math teacher at Sewell Middle, Melanie Williams, sixth grade science teacher at
Sewell Middle, David Clay, former SMS principal, and Janis Parrish, Bremen City
Director of Curriculum / Instruction.
