Subject: Called Board Meeting Actions on 03/27/2008

 

The Bremen Board of Education met in a called meeting at 7:30 AM on Thursday March 27, 2008 to execute a lease purchase resolution with the Georgia School Boards Association for $600,000 for improvements for the new athletic fields at Bremen Middle School. 

.

In other action the board approved the recommendations of the superintendent for hiring the following individuals for the next school term:

·              Mr. Josh Carter-Social Studies teacher at Bremen High School

·              Mr. John Ellison-Math teacher at Bremen High School

·              Ms. Courtney Sellers-School Nurse at Bremen High School

·              Ms. Valerie Butler-Secretary to Principal at Bremen Middle School

·              Ms. Mary Sellers-ISS Coordinator/Athletic Secretary at Bremen Middle     

  School and Bremen 4th and 5th Grade Academy

·              Ms. Jackie Parks-Media Assistant at Bremen High School.  Ms. Parks is      

   transferring from ISS Coordinator/Athletic Secretary to the media Assistant    

   position.
