2004	Bremen High School was recognized as Region 6-A winner of the Governor’s Cup for SAT Improvement
2004	Team from Sewell Middle School won 2^nd in state in PROMOTE Georgia web design competition
2005	Bremen High School received a certificate of achievement as an outstanding School meeting or exceeding expectations on the 2005 End of Course Testing

2005	Bremen High School received Platinum award from the state for greatest gain in meeting and exceeding standards on the Georgia High School Graduation test
2006	Jones Elementary received Bronze award from the state for highest percentage of students meeting and exceeding standards and the Platinum award for greatest gain in students meeting and exceeding standards
2006	Bremen City Schools received certificate for highest performance recognition for excellence in the education of students with disabilities from Georgia Department of Education
2006	Sewell Middle School was recognized for being in the top ten in the state in the areas of sixth grade math and science on the Georgia CRCT
2006	Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education included Bremen High School as a stop on their bus tour of exemplary schools
2006	Jones Elementary awarded Title I Distinguished School
2005-06	Bremen High School Business Department and Healthcare Science Technology Education received Program Certification for next five year period
2006	Sewell Middle School had two entries in the state science fair with one winning second place in the chemistry division

2006	Bremen High and Sewell Middle School Bands receive superior ratings in band competitions for marching and concert bands
2006	Sewell Middle School Academic Team was Northwest Georgia First Place Winner in academic competition
	Jones Elementary has an extended day Fine Arts Program with a chorus that meets weekly and hosts two choral performances in the school year. The drama program also meets weekly and stages two performances per year. Jones Elementary hosts a yearly art show that is open to the public.
