Accelerated Reading Program 2007/2008

The Accelerated Reader Program is a special reading program available for all of our students in grades 1-5.  The student reads one of the accelerated books in the library and takes a short comprehension test about the book. It is recommended that the test be taken within a day or two of completing the chosen book.   If you have any questions about the Accelerated Reading Program at our school you may contact Keri Perkins at
770-537-4352.

Accelerated Reader (AR)
Incentive Program

We have started rewarding prizes for points students make from their AR tests. We are stressing accuracy and reading on their level. Students will be rewarded for points they receive when they make 70 or above on tests. Students will be checked for reading on their level too. They will not receive prizes for points gained from tests that are not near their level. Deadline to make points for AR Day is April 11. Grade levels have different goals for students to attend AR Day.
